SUPERALLOY REVERT
Nickel and Cobalt based superalloys are used extensively in aerospace jet engines, land-based industrial gas turbine (IGT), petrochemical, chemical, medical and nuclear power generation industries due to their resistance to high temperatures, creep and corrosion.

The latest generation of equiaxal, single crystal (SC) and directionally solidified (DS) superalloys incorporate exotic metals such as Tantalum, Niobium, Hafnium and Rhenium which allow them to run at even higher temperatures.

Avon Specialty Metals recycles these complex alloys and prepares them using sophisticated and proprietary chemical and mechanical techniques into high-quality revert meltstock for VIM, ESR, VAR and AOD meltshops.
